PARKING
Campus parking for parents and families will be at no charge on Friday, October 9th, beginning at 7:00 a.m. through Sunday on October 11th, until 11:00 p.m. You are welcome to park in any marked campus spot, including those reserved for faculty and staff. Note that there will be some restrictions clearly marked and signed for the weekend, particularly close to Ellis Oval (the football field). Please purchase a parking permit at go.tufts.edu/permit, if outside of those hours. Visitors without a permit beyond this time may be ticketed. Handicapped parking areas are reserved for vehicles so designated.
Be aware that parking in our host cities of Somerville and Medford is permit-only, and enforcement will remain in effect for the weekend
The MBTA’s Green Line and Red Line provide excellent options for visitors traveling to and from Tufts’ Medford campus and those wishing to explore the Boston area. SHUTTLES
Tufts offers several shuttle services for students and their visitors. See the links below for route and schedule details. Buses can be tracked live online at www.go.tufts.edu/shuttle
Shuttles depart on the hour and half hour and travel between the Mayer Campus Center and Davis Square Somerville. This shuttle can be tracked live online.
School of the Museum of Fine Arts Shuttle
The SMFA Shuttle departs every hour from the Granoff Center and travels to the SMFA at 230 Fenway in Boston. This shuttle can be tracked live online.
The SMFA Beacon Direct Shuttle provides service between 230 Fenway and the Beacon Street residences. Shuttles run approximately every 10 minutes from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The shoppers' shuttle will run on Saturdays during the academic year from the Medford/Somerville campus to the Fellsway Plaza in Medford. Shuttles depart every hour from the Campus Center shuttle stop at 44 Professors Row and drop off at the Stop & Shop entrance on left side of the store.
